Shapemaster will be exhibiting at the UK Active National Summit on Thursday 31st October which will address how physical activity impacts and is impacted by:

  • How we live
  • Where we live
  • How we work

Physical activity, and the sector that delivers it, is the backbone of a modern Britain: vital to its wellbeing, but inextricably connected and influenced by a wide array of other sectors and institutions. From construction, housing and building developers, to employee benefits providers, and the insurance, retail and business sectors – all can have a tremendous impact on our ambition to reverse generation inactive, transform working life and reimagine ageing.

The Summit will also provide an opportunity to progress the conversation that began at active uprising around our sector’s core role of uniting a movement of an active nation and show the value of the sector in three crucial policy areas:  turning generation inactive into generation active, transforming working life and reimagining ageing, the latter being something that we at Shapemaster have been talking about for quite sometime.

Speakers include: Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, DBE, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill DBE and Professor Greg Whyte OBE.
